Transfers

Transfers are used to move funds between your Northwest FCS account(s) or to or from your commercial bank account. 

For internal transfers between your Northwest FCS accounts, click on New Internal Transfer.

For transfers between your Northwest FCS account(s) and your bank account(s), click on New ACH In to transfer from your bank account or New ACH Out to transfer to your bank account.

If you have Transfers Templates established, you can access them by clicking on Templates.

Initiate a Transfer

From the Payments & Transfers screen, initiate the type of transfer you would like to make by clicking on the appropriate transfer button.

  • New Internal Transfer to transfer between your Northwest FCS accounts
  • New ACH In to transfer from your bank account to your Northwest FCS account
  • New ACH Out to transfer to your bank account from your Northwest FCS account

Select the accounts in the From and To Account drop down lists.

Note the defaulted Effective Date.  You can change the date to a future business date by clicking the Calendar icon and selecting a date in the future.

Enter the Amount of the transfer (New ACH Out only) or;

Select the desired payment Transfer Instructions for the To Account selected:

  • Pay Total Payment Due - pay the billed amount due,
  • Pay Total Payment Due, Plus Additional to Principal - pay the billed amount due plus enter an amount for an additional principal payment.
  • Pay Other Amount - pay any amount of Principal, Interest, Late Charges or Fees, in any combination.  Amounts will be paid in accordance with loan documents and procedure.

Enter a Description for the transfer if needed.

Please note the bullet point items on the screen regarding cutoff times and other transfer instructions.

Click Submit Transfer.

On the next screen, verify that the transaction is correct and, if so, click Send Transfer and then click Done at the final screen. 

The transaction will appear in either your Submitted or Pending transaction list depending on the Effective Date chosen and the time of day at which the transaction was submitted.

Templates

You may set up transfer templates from the Payments and Transfers screen by clicking the Templates button.  Select the transfer template for New Internal Transfer, New ACH In or New ACH Out. Complete all required fields and click Submit Template.  Verify information is correct and click Save Template and then Done.

To use the template, select the template in the drop down when initiating a transfer.  Click on the Load Template button.
