Consolidated Balance Summary

The Consolidated Balance Summary provides a balance overview of the loan and/or investment relationships you have with CoBank.  

1. Consolidated Balances Summary Review

The Consolidated Balance Summary is located on your CoBank Home Page.

  • The system will display information under the following column headings: Description, Outstanding Balance, Available Balance, Commitment and Action.
  • Descriptions:
    • C/A Seasonal. All loans identified in your CoBank relationship as seasonal credit arrangements will roll up under this description.
    • C/A Term. All loans identified in your CoBank relationship as term credit arrangements will roll up under this description.
    • L/C Seasonal & L/C Term. Letters of credit will roll up under this description.
    • InvestLine Overnight. All CoBank investments (overnight and term investments) will roll up under this description.
    • AIM Treasury, AIM Liquid Assets, and AIM Government Agency. All AIM investments will roll up under this description.
  • Outstanding Balance.
    • Loan accounts. Outstanding Balance will reflect the total funds advanced on loan accounts.
    • Investment accounts. Outstanding Balance will reflect the total funds invested.
  • Available Balance.
    • Loan accounts. Available Balance will reflect the total funds available on loan accounts.
    • Investment accounts. Available Balance will reflect $0.00. The current available balance is reflected in the Outstanding Balance field.
  • Commitment.
    • Loan accounts. Commitment will reflect the total credit arrangement.
    • Investment accounts. Commitment will reflect $0.00. The current available balance is reflected in the Outstanding Balance field.
  • Action.
    • Contains a spyglass icon for viewing more information.

2. Drill Down to Review More Detailed Information

On the Home page you will find the Consolidated Balance Summary.  In the Action column is a spyglass icon view more detailed information. (Note: For the purpose of this procedure C/A Term and C/A Seasonal descriptions are explained.)

Credit Arrangement Display

The C/A Term (or Seasonal) Summary will display the following details (Balance, MTD Accrued Interest, Previous Month's Interest, YTD Accrued Interest, and Interest Paid Last Year)

The section below C/A Term (or Seasonal) Summary will be labeled C/A Term (or C/A Seasonal). Information will be displayed under the following column headings:

  • C/A Number. The Credit Arrangement Number assigned by CoBank.
  • Agreement Number. The Agreement Number assigned by CoBank.
  • Purpose. The Purpose of the Credit Arrangement (All Other, Operating, Grain, etc.) assigned by CoBank.
  • Outstanding Balance. Outstanding Balance will reflect the total funds advanced on loan accounts associated with this Credit Arrangement.
  • Available Balance. Available Balance will reflect the total funds available on loan accounts associated with this Credit Arrangement.
  • Commitment. Commitment will reflect the total credit arrangement.

Click on the spyglass icon for the appropriate C/A Number to review more detailed information about the loan accounts associated with this Credit Arrangement.

Account Display

The section below the Summary will display information under the following column headings regarding the loan accounts assigned to this Credit Arrangement:

  • Account Number. The Account Number assigned by CoBank.
  • Account Name. The Account Name assigned by CoBank. Variable is the most common name. Fixed is also a common name for those customers that request fixed rate loans.
  • Outstanding Balance. Outstanding Balance will reflect the total funds advanced on this loan account.

Click the box next to the specific Account Number and click the View Details button to review more detailed information about this loan account. The following screen will display:

Account History

The Account Summary will display various details about the loan account.

The section below the Account Summary is the Account History, and information will be displayed under the following column headings. (The transactions may be sorted by clicking on the up/down arrows next to the column headings).

Account History may be expanded and searched for up to 370 days of history. (The system will default current day history.)

  1. Enter the appropriate date range into the Date range fields at the top right section of the screen.
  2. Click the 'View' button.
  3. The history corresponding to the selected date range will display at the bottom of the screen under Account History.

Account History may be exported by selecting the export format from the drop down and clicking Export button.
