Wires

The Wires function allows you to originate same-day or future-dated outgoing wire transfers. There are three types of wire transfers available:

Fed Wires

Fed wires are Domestic wire transfers directed to recognized bank ABA/routing numbers within the Federal Reserve system.

Global Wires

Global wires are US dollar international wire transfers directed through recognized bank ABA/routing numbers within the Federal Reserve system, and may include SWIFT instructions for Intermediary and/or Beneficiary banks. Global wires may also be used for Fed/Domestic wires.

Book Wires

Book wires are transfers to other CoBank customers. The funds remain within CoBank. You will need to know the beneficiary's CIF (8-digit customer number), and account number (9-digit number).
